Overview
Kangaroo Lake is located half way between Kerang and Swan Hill in Victoria’s Golden Rivers country and is home to Brown Brothers vineyards and is a popular spot for fishing and watersports. Situated right on the foreshores of the lake, this township provides for a tranquil setting.
History
Kangaroo Lake is most famous for ‘Gorton Drive’, named after former Australian Prime Minister Sir John Gorton who was born at Kangaroo Lake in 1911.
